A SMALL BOX OF OUR LOVE AND PRAYERS

Sometimes, there is nothing like receiving some good ol’ snail mail in the mailbox, particularly if you are away at college. Students always enjoy receiving care packages from home as a little reminder they are remembered by those who love them. These small boxes packed with love and prayers, through goodies and personalized notes from the youth, can really brighten up a student’s day! Care packages are especially appreciated during those particularly stressful times of midterms and final exams. Having extra snacks and sweet goodies on hand usually makes the long nights and exhausting days studying for upcoming exams a little easier.

Our college care package program is a ministry in which our congregation has participated for many years. If you were a college student, or have raised a college student in this church family, then you know how meaningful our care package ministry is for all those who receive them. Our care packages are packed by our Youth Family and include study supplies, snacks, handwritten notes and best of all… baked treats donated by you, members of FBG’s congregation. This is a wonderful ministry to help maintain contact with our college students and to remind them we are praying for them during this stressful time of the year, sending our love and care to them while they are away from home.
