Preschoolers began preparing for Christmas early this year. During the week of June 22-25 children from our 4 and 5 year old classes, led by Carol Ann Good, studied the Christmas story, and each child created a most unusual nativity. They began with wooden blocks which the children painted. They then glued fabric to the blocks to create baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, 3 wise men, a shepherd, an angel and 3 animals.

No nativity would be complete without a star and theirs shine brightly with sequins and sparkles. The children also enjoyed spending time together and discovering areas of our church with special works of art like the Christmas window and the Noah’s Ark Mural.
